L.A. Tagger Busted After Posting Viral Videos
An infamous L.A. tagger who goes by the moniker “Buket” was popped by local detectives this week after they caught wind of his ongoing vandalism on YouTube.
The 24-year-old kid (real name: Cyrus Yazdani) was receiving global recognition in the graffiti world for his viral campaign, but he also dug his own grave.
“Buket” posted several videos on YouTube: one showed him tagging a Hollywood Freeway overpass in broad day light while cars zoomed by 20 feet below, while another showed him painting on a MTA bus in front of everyone also during the day.
Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputy Devin Vanderlaan told the L.A. Times that he had to find this kid after seeing the videos.
“If he’s brave enough to tag on an MTA bus in the middle of the day, I’ve gotta find out who this guy is,” Vanderlaan told the paper.
