Obama Ain’t Down With Ludacris’ ‘Offensive’ Lyrics

In a new track attacking Obama critics, rapper Ludacris refers to Hillary Clinton as a “bitch” calling her “irrelevant,” says President Bush is “mentally handicapped,” and later says McCain doesn’t belong in “any chair unless he’s paralyzed.”

Obama’s campaign was not impressed with the new song, which appears on the rapper’s latest mixtaep Gangsta Grillz: The Preview.

The presidential hopeful’s campaign said Luda “should be ashamed of these lyrics,” and blasted the track all together.

“As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn’t want his daughters or any children exposed to,” campaign spokesman Bill Burton said in a statement. “This song is not only outrageously offensive to Sen. Clinton, Rev. Jackson, Sen. McCain and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear. While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics.”

Ludacris has been a big supporter of Sen. Obama since the beginning, and the presidential candidate even said Luda was one of the “great talents and great businessmen” in hip-hop in a past interview with Rolling Stone. He even met privately with Ludacris in Chicago in 2006, before announcing his plans to run for president.

Despite the support, Obama won’t stand by these types of lyrics. Damn Luda, was that a ploy for attention?

Kate Hudson & Lance Armstrong Call It Quits

Couple Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong are officially splitsville, since this weekend.

According to US magazine, there was no drama surround the split, it was just mutual.

“There was no drama or ugliness — they just decided to end things,” a source tells Usmagazine.com. “There is no hatred, just sadness.”

The 29-year-old actress was seen with the 36-year-old cyclist at many of his races and events, including his three-day Lance Armstrong Livestrong Summit in Columbus, Ohio, this past weekend.

Despite the statement, sources told the New York Post’s Page Six gossip column that the couple tried to make it work, but the constant bickering and their travel schedules drove them apart.

Hmm, which is it, eh?

Cheech & Chong Reunite For Comedy Tour

Pot head comedians, Cheech and Chong, recently announced that the duo will reunited for their first comedy tour in more than 25 years.

Cheech told the Associated Press that he and Chong “looked at each other going, ‘If we’re ever going to do something it has to be now because you’re not getting any younger and neither am I.’”

The duo, who broke up amid creative differences, have tried to reunite before, but have always fought too much. Marin laughed and said: “It takes about three minutes for that to happen. There’s this veiled hatred.” But he added: “We’ve kind of resolved that.”

“We’ve gotten to the age where we don’t feel like fighting anymore because the end is a lot closer than the beginning,” he said.

Tour details are to come.

Justin Timberlake: ‘I Made The Trucker Hat Popular, Not Ashton’

Justin Timberlake graces the cover of the new issue Fashion Rocks magazine, and something interesting he talks about is in the cover story is … Trucker hats.

Ok, not interesting, but definitely funny.

Anyway, the pop star talks about how he is the one responsible for making those country-looking trucker hats so popular, and not Ashton Kutcher as most believe.

“It’s funny,” Timberlake says. “I keep hearing Ashton Kutcher say how he was responsible for trucker caps. I’ve heard him make that statement before.”

Ok Justin, that’s something to brag about … yea … ok.

Shia LaBeouf ‘Not At Fault’ For Recent Accident

After all the drama and talk surrounding Shia LaBeouf’s recent accident and DUI arrest, authorities have determined that the actor was not at fault.

In a statement, sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said detectives have determined that the other driver apparently ran a red light, and will also be cited.

“He was not at fault,” Whitmore said of the LaBeouf.

Too bad for Shia, a bad driver got him caught for a DUI. Bad luck, eh?

Miley Cyrus ‘So Sorry’ For Dissing Selena Gomez

Miley Cyrus recently issued an apology to fellow Disney Channel stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato for mocking them on YouTube. She says she’s “super sorry.”

“I mean if we offended (Gomez and Lovato), we’re super sorry, but we were, like, just having fun,’ Cyrus said in an interview with Popstar! magazine.

Cyrus and her friend copied an earlier YouTube video by Gomez and Lovato in a scene-by-scene parody, obviously making fun of them. (See it here.)

“That’s our thing, to be funny,” she said. “They were being funny on their show, and (besides) Elvis says imitation is the greatest form of flattery, so we were, like, imitating them. You know, like, being funny.”

Sure Miley, we all know you were trying to hate. Don’t be jealous because Selena is dating a Jonas brother and you’re not … anymore.

The former “Saved By The Bell” star will replace both Mark McGrath and Dayna Devon as the new solo host.

He’s sought-after? Really? Well, we guess Mark wasn’t cutting it any longer.

Samantha Ronson Defends Lindsay’s Lil Sis

The NY Post’s Page Six recently ran a piece claiming that Lindsay Lohan’s girlfriend, Samantha Ronson, recently refused to play younger sister Ali’s music during a recent DJing gig.

An angry Samro fired back at the paper, via her MySpace blog, saying she really likes Ali’s new song “All the Way Around.”

“Where do they come up with this sh**????” asked Ronson wrote in her blog entry titled, “I mean … really?”

“The most pathetic thing of all,” se continued, “is that Richard Johnson is an old friend of my mother’s and therefore could have easily fact checked this one.”

She went on to help pub Ali’s new track, telling her readers to get it on iTunes, and that it’s a “great f***ing pop song!”

Damn, love makes you do dumb things. Sam’s gonna put her DJing rep on the line for Ali? Wow.
