Another Superhead: Mos Def’s Wife Alana Wyatt-Smith
Here comes another Superhead.
Alana Wyatt-Smith, the 29-year old estranged wife of actor/rapper Mos Def is penning a tell-all book about their relationship, and relations she had with other men.
According to reports, in the book, titled Breaking My Code Of Silence, she makes explosive allegations that Mos Def was physically abusive to her during their marriage, and that she’s been involved with other men as well, including Kanye West.
Despite that news, Wyatt-Smith, a former stripper and seventh grade drop-out, says she uses nicknames and aliases for the men in her book, “out of respect for their wives.”
“I disagree with putting names of people in there, just out of respect for their wives and children,” Wyatt-Smith told The Toronto Star. “If this was about making money, getting rich, I could have wrote a tell-all book, 10 times better than Karrine Steffans.
“People want to know about the biggest names in the NBA, who proposed to who, and did what, and this and that; I could have put some stuff in there that would have made it a number one seller within days. I use nicknames, initials, that myself and the gentleman would know; the ones named I got permission from.”
She also told the paper that Mos Def is controlling, and refuses to sign divorce papers. “He won’t sign the papers,” Wyatt-Smith says. “He told my lawyer if he can’t have me, nobody else will.”
Wow … wonder who else she plans to air out?

Mos Def needs to find a real down to earth woman who knows how to take care of home and stop trying to get paid….I am not hatin but its so obvious…I hope she find her own way…
A 7th grade dropout and a stripper…”Holla little Wayne” and she’s writing a book to tell women NOT to do the same thing she just did in an interview on worldhiphop.com…what a delusional hoe…I HATE women like this, just pure garbage, used thrown out and then a decent man picks her up and thinks he can clean her up, not gonna happen.
I know this chick but here is the $100 dollar question I have for everyone who is making this hooker popular just by talking about her:
If Alana was legally married to Mos…..why did she only settle for $115,000.00? Seeing that she is so desperate for money right now that she writes a book which mostly embarrasses herself namely publicly disclosing her 7th grade education and the fact she was a stripper at 15…….if she was his legal wife she could have gotten a million at least.
People Mos was already married when he married her, he thought that a marriage in Canada would be legal because Canada is another country…..(wondering if Mos also has a 7th grade education) He paid that tramp off to avoid being charged for bigamy. Take it from me….I know this bitch personally.
Also anyone interviewing her please bear in mind she is addicted to pain pills (perks), extasy and cocaine so not much of what comes out of her mouth is credible or sensible. Stop giving this hooker publicity…its pathetic!
