Christina Applegate Beats Breast Cancer After Double Mastectomy
Christina Applegate is officially free of cancer, but only after undergoing a double mastectomy to remove both breasts to combat the disease.
As previously reported, Applegate was battling breast cancer, but doctors were able to catch it early.
She revealed the good news during an interview with “Good Morning America” tape on Monday (August 18).
“I’m clear,” she said. “Absolutely 100 percent clear and clean. It did not spread. They got everything out, so I’m definitely not going to die from breast cancer.”
Despite the relieving news of beating cancer, the removal of her breasts is still hard, she admitted.
“Sometimes, you know, I cry,” Applegate said. “And sometimes I scream. And I get really angry. And I get really upset, you know, into wallowing in self-pity sometimes. And I think it’s all part of the healing.”

Christina Applegate Battling Breast Cancer
It was revealed over the weekend that Christina Applegate has breast cancer and is undergoing treatment for the disease. The good news is that it was caught early and she is expected to fully recover.
The 36-year-old’s cancer was detected through an MRI ordered by a doctor and is not life-threatening, publicist Ame Van Iden said in a statement Saturday (August 2).

Christina Applegate Saddened By Boyfriend’s Death
On Tuesday (July 1), Christina Applegate’s boyfriend, Lee Grivas, was found dead, and while there is no word as to the cause of death, there is currently an investigation underway.
Applegate is very sad about Grivas’ death, she said in a statement to E!. “I am profoundly saddened. Lee was an incredible human being who was an extremely important and beautiful part of my life. He is missed beyond words. He touched so many and I feel much sadness for his mother, brother and all of his family and friends.”
Results of an autopsy and toxicology tests are pending.
Christina Applegate’s Boyfriend Found Dead
Wow, Lee Grivas, boyfriend of actress Christina Applegate, was found dead in his apartment Tuesday (July 1).
According to the National Enquirer, 26-year-old Grivas was found by a neighbor in the living room of his Hollywood aparment at around 5:25 p.m. Tuesday.
An autopsy is yet to be complete, and reports indicate there was no signs of a struggle or trauma.
