Jamie Lynn Spears Gives Birth To Baby Girl
Britney Spears’ sister, Jamie Lynn, gave birth to a baby girl Thursday morning (JUne 19) at a south Mississippi hospital, according to a person close to the Spears family.
The source asked to not be identified because the family has yet to official announce the birth. However, according to People, she’s named the baby Maddie Briann.
“Just the family was there,” says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. “Everyone is healthy and happy.”
The father is Jamie Lynn’s fiancé Casey Aldridge.
Paparazzi Busted For Stalking Jamie Lynn Spears
A paparazzi was arrested Tuesday (June 3) after being accused of stalking Britney Spears’ pregnant sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, and her fiancé, Casey Aldridge
According to the Mississippi Enterprise-Journal, the Spears clan filed a complaint in Mississippi, saying he wouldn’t leave the young couple alone.
The man is 30-year-old Edwin Merrino out of Los Angeles. He was released Wednesday (June 4), according to reports, and released on $1,096 bond.
He denies harassing the couple. He told the Associated Press that he keeps his distance when photographing them — and that he was at least 200 feet away from Spears and Aldridge when he was busted.
“I just think since I was the only one there, it was just easier for them to single me out,” Merrino said. “The one picture I got was kind of by luck. I got lucky when I saw them at Wal-Mart when I was buying deodorant.”
Jamie Lynn is expected to give birth sometime this month or in early July.
