Dave Matthews Band’s LeRoi Moore Dies
Dave Matthews Band’s sax player, LeRoi Moore, died on Tuesday (August 19) from injuries suffered from an ATV crash, according to reports.
Moore was just 46 years old.
Reports indicate that the band member was seriously injured during an ATV accident on June 30 outside Charlottesville. During the crash, he suffered a punctured lung and broken ribs.
Moore was hospitalized last month while in Los Angeles due to complications from the accident, and his health took a turn for the worst.
Issac Hayes’ Death Caused By Stroke
So Issac Hayes’ death was caused by a stroke, says authorities in Memphis. The soul singer died Sunday afternoon (August 10) by a relative in his Memphis home.
The family physician, Dr. David Kraus, lists the cause of death as a stroke. No autopsy has been performed.
Soul Singer Isaac Hayes Found Dead At His Home In Memphis
Another legend is dead. Following Bernie Mac’s death on Saturday, legendary soul singer Isaac Hayes died the next day, on Sunday afternoon (August 10) after collapsing at his home in Memphis, Tennessee.
According to local news channel WMC-TV, a relative found Hayes unconscious on the floor near a treadmill inside his home, after which he was taken to Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, where he was pronounced dead at 2:08 p.m.
While there is an investigation into his death, police believe there was no foul play involved.
He released several albums since his debut in 1967. In 1971, he received several accolades for creating the theme for “Shaft”.
Before his death, he was set to begin work on a new album, and recently completed a movie where he plays himself called “Soul Men,” starring Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac.
The singer was just 65 years of age. Rest in peace.
Bernie Mac Passes Away At The Age Of 50
Actor and comedian Bernie Mac died early Saturday (August 9) at the age of 50, a week after being hopitalized for pneumonia.
“Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital,” his publicist, Danica Smith, said in a statement from Los Angeles.
She said no other details were available and asked that his family’s privacy be respected.
Last week, when news surfaced that the singer had been hospitalized, Smith said he was “responding well to treatment and will be released soon.”
“He’s doing great and hopes to get out soon,” Smith told the Chicago Sun-Times.
Mac had suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body’s organs, reports the Associated Press, but had said the condition went into remission in 2005. His hospitalization for pneumonia was not related to the disease said Smith.
The comedian was probably best known for his Fox television series “The Bernie Mac Show,” which aired from 2001 to 2006. The series won a Peabody Award in 2002, and earned Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for Mac.
Mac is survived by his wife, Rhonda McCullough, their daughter, Je’Niece, a son-in-law and a granddaughter.

Christina Applegate’s Boyfriend Found Dead
Wow, Lee Grivas, boyfriend of actress Christina Applegate, was found dead in his apartment Tuesday (July 1).
According to the National Enquirer, 26-year-old Grivas was found by a neighbor in the living room of his Hollywood aparment at around 5:25 p.m. Tuesday.
An autopsy is yet to be complete, and reports indicate there was no signs of a struggle or trauma.

Suicide Model Was Confused About Life
AS you all may have heard by now, Russian supermodel Ruslana Korshunova committed suicide by diving off her ninth-floor Manhattan apartment on Saturday (June 28). So since the news broke, it seems as though she was confused about the direction of her life.
According to the NY Post, she also struggled with a stomach ailment in the days before her death.
The 20-year-old native of Kazakhstan had lost a lot of weight in the last month and had trouble balancing her personal life and her demanding work schedule, her ex-boyfriend told the paper.
“I think she just gave up,” said Artem Perchenok, who was with Korshunova on the last night of her life.
Before her death, Korshunova had a full schedule of high-profile modeling jobs in New York and had recently returned from Paris, said reports.
The model, a size 4, appeared to have dropped a lot of weight from her already thin frame and was complaining about a stomachache in the four or five days before her death. She also told her manager “she didn’t know what to do with her life,” her ex told the Post.

George Carlin Dead At 71
Legendary comedian, George Carlin, died in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 22) of heart failure. He was 71 years old.
According to reports, the comedian — known for his routines about drugs, dirty words and the demise of humanity — died at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica about 6 p.m. PDT after being admitted earlier in the afternoon for chest pains.
Carlin has had a long history of heart and drug-dependency problems. He reportedly began his drug history with marijuana as a kid, then by the 1970s was a regular cocaine suerh, and then finally he moved on to prescription painkillers and wine. In 2004, he entered a Los Angeles rehab clinic for his alcohol and Vicodin abuse.
Despite the drug habit, he entertained many with his comedy.
Carlin is survived by his second wife Sally Wade, daughter Kelly Carlin McCall, and brother Patrick. His first wife, Brenda, died of cancer in 1997.
Legendary Rocker Bo Diddley Dies At 79
Rock pioneer, Bo Diddley, passed on Monday (June 2) at the age of 79 after months of being ill.
According to reports, the rocker — who was responsible for hits like “Bo Diddley,” You Can’t Judge a Book by Its Cover,” “Shave and a Haircut,” “Uncle John,” “Who Do You Love?” and “The Mule” — died at his home in Archer, Fla. of heart failure.
His health had been deteriorating over the last few months leading up to his death. Diddley suffered a heart attack in August, three months after suffering a stroke while touring in Iowa. Doctors said the stroke affected his ability to speak, and he had returned to Florida to continue rehabilitation.
Diddley is survived by his children, Evelyn Kelly, Ellas A. McDaniel, Tammi D. McDaniel and Terri Lynn McDaniel, as well as 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Services are planned for this weekend.

ITS 4:32AM AND I HAVE SOME BAD NEWS……..
AS you all know, I shared with you the announcment of my newborn son Xavier Kingston Joiner on may 15th and also informed you that he was born prematurly. well this week was extremly difficult for him because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own. Xavier passed away this morning at 3:30am and I must tell you this, It is unatural for a parent to bury a child. I am telling you this because of the same reason I tell you when im having great times, life is too short to be fake. Hold on to your kids if you have them, protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them, dont take a second you get to hug them teach them and care for them for granted. You can have all the material wealth in the universe but it is NOTHING compared to having your family. I am thankful for all of my blessings and im not one to question God’s perfect plan, so I leave you with great love and thanks for the love that was sent earlier on my pervious blog to my son. Of course I need to take some time and handle my loss, STAY FOCUSED PEOPLE. Its not promised to any of us.
