Christina Applegate Beats Breast Cancer After Double Mastectomy
Christina Applegate is officially free of cancer, but only after undergoing a double mastectomy to remove both breasts to combat the disease.
As previously reported, Applegate was battling breast cancer, but doctors were able to catch it early.
She revealed the good news during an interview with “Good Morning America” tape on Monday (August 18).
“I’m clear,” she said. “Absolutely 100 percent clear and clean. It did not spread. They got everything out, so I’m definitely not going to die from breast cancer.”
Despite the relieving news of beating cancer, the removal of her breasts is still hard, she admitted.
“Sometimes, you know, I cry,” Applegate said. “And sometimes I scream. And I get really angry. And I get really upset, you know, into wallowing in self-pity sometimes. And I think it’s all part of the healing.”

Dave Matthews Band’s LeRoi Moore Dies
Dave Matthews Band’s sax player, LeRoi Moore, died on Tuesday (August 19) from injuries suffered from an ATV crash, according to reports.
Moore was just 46 years old.
Reports indicate that the band member was seriously injured during an ATV accident on June 30 outside Charlottesville. During the crash, he suffered a punctured lung and broken ribs.
Moore was hospitalized last month while in Los Angeles due to complications from the accident, and his health took a turn for the worst.
Irish Singer Brian McFadden A Homophobe?
Irish singer Brian McFadden, who rose to fame with boy band Westlife, recently showed how much of a homophobe he is when he revealed his true feelings about men who wear pink.
During an interview on a New Zealand radio show recently, the singer declared that straight men shouldn’t wear pink, when the conversation turned to fashion.
“Saying pink is a form of red is the same as saying homosexual is a form of male. … In the old days there was no such thing as gay,” McFadden said. “It was frowned upon, the church would burn you at the stake. Modern day, if you are not gay, a man should not be wearing pink, unless of course you’re in the America’s Cup and you’re one of these pansies who walk around with Gant t-shirts with your collars up, and you wear pink and you wear white trousers with those dirty brown slip-on shoes. Then you’re just an idiot…”

Is Rihanna Almost Broke?
Word is pop singer Rihanna is nearly broke.
Rumor has is, her now ex-business manager Patricia Williams recently tried to explain it to the singer, and she threw a fit. Williams says Rihanna only has about $20,000 to her name, but that won’t last long is she continues with her current spending lifestyle.
“I showed her all the paperwork and tried to explain to her the circumstances but she wouldn’t listen. She called me all sorts of horrible names and stormed off,” Williams reportedly said.
Williams added that Rihanna has only made “a little bit above a million” and “all of it was spent on making her as big as she is now. It’s not my fault that she only has 20,000 to her name.”
Apparently, despite all the success over the past year, she’s only made about $1 million, and hasn’t received much from her label Def Jam, who has to recoup the money they invested in her first, before she gets a dime.

Kim Kardashian … when you hear that name, you think big backyard, right? Well, it seems Kim K is getting tired of having all that junk in the trunk, and is working hard at ridding herself of the one thing she’s famous for … her ass.
In a recent interview with Radar Magazine, she reveals that the attention on his buttocks is getting to her.
“I love my butt, but enough already … I love that I’m curvy, but I’m on this major kick to try and lose weight, especially in my butt,” she told the mag. “I’m just so over it! When you’re posing on the red carpet and the paparazzi shout, ‘Turn around! Turn around!’ — it gets a little offensive.”

Bigfoot Finding A Hoax Or The Real Deal?
We’re sure you heard about the Bigfoot news. It’s been all over as of late. If you haven’t two men from Georgia claim they have found the body of Bigfoot and have proof.
As you seen above, this photo was widely distributed as the remains of the legendary elusive beast.
On Friday (August 15), the two men held a press conference in Palo Alto to talk about the finding, but basically, they didn’t tell us anything that wasn’t already said, and also didn’t show the remains.
They offered an e-mail from an entomologist as evidence and acknowledged they wouldn’t mind making a few bucks from the “find,” which they have kept stuffed in a freezer for over a month.
During the conference, these two guys basically publicized their website, and have started offering Bigfoot search expeditions in Georgia for $499.
Sounds like a lot of bull to us… What do you think?
DMX Busted By Police In Miami
DMX was arrested Thursday afternoon (August 14) in Miami after a judge issued a warrant for his arrest earlier this week for failing to appear.
According to reports, the rapper (real name: Earl Simmons) was picked up by Miami PD outside a Wal-Mart, and hauled him down the station.
DMX’s lawyer, Charles Kozelka, said that the rapper had checked himself into a Miami hospital the day he failed to show in Phoenix and was planning on entering a rehab facility afterward, reports the Associated Press.
Those plans didn’t pan out, however, due to the warrant, the Kozelka explained, saying that he had been trying to arrange for DMX to turn himself in at the airport.
A Phoenix judge issued the warrant for DMX on Tuesday (August 12) when the rapper failed to appear for a pretrial conference on four counts of possessing drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of marijuana.
It is one of many cases X faces in the state of Arizona.
